Doctorate in Social Anthropology

The doctoral program in Social Anthropology at the University of Brasilia (PPGAS/UnB) lasts up to 48 months and includes 48 credits in subjects (4 of which are compulsory, as well as optional and related courses). Orientation must be defined by the end of the second semester of the course. At the end of the fourth semester, the student must take their Qualifying Exam and at the end of the eighth semester, defend their Thesis.
